A farmers market on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis has reopened to customers for the season.
The weekly market is open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. between Sixth and Eighth streets on Nicollet Mall.
Small, local businesses will be selling fresh, in-season produce as well as a variety of goods. When 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS stopped by the market on the first day it opened, we saw merchants selling canned pickles, flowers, breads and cookies.
In addition to the market, on the third Thursday of each month this summer, the Downtown Council has planned Downtown Thursdays featuring added activities and programming.
