Motorcyclist who died in June I-494 crash identified

A motorcyclist who died after crashing on Interstate 494 in Richfield has been identified.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report, the 42-year-old Shakopee man was riding westbound on a Kawasaki VN900 Cruiser near Highway 77 around 2:48 p.m. when traffic slowed and he lost control.
The victim has been identified as Richard Fay Judy.
The crash report does not mention whether or not he was wearing a helmet.
