Moorhead woman arrested after hit-and-run

A Moorhead woman was arrested following a hit-and-run, Thursday night.

According to the city of Moorhead, at 5:52 p.m., first responders arrived at the scene of a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on the 1700 block of 41st Avenue South.

The pedestrian was transported to Sanford Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The responsible vehicle fled the scene but was located a short time later, police said. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 30-year-old Abby Rose McKenna, of Moorhead.

McKenna is being held at Clay County Jail pending charges of criminal vehicular operation, third-degree DWI and second-degree test refusal.
