Moorhead man arrested after women assaulted

A Moorhead man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly assaulting two women, sending them to a hospital.

According to Moorhead Police, officers were called to the 1900 block of 18 Avenue South at 7:15 p.m. on a report of two injured women needing help.

When officers arrived, they determined an acquaintance assaulted the two women with several items, including a knife. Both suffered significant injuries and were taken to a hospital.

Police later found and arrested 20-year-old Ashton Bellefeuille for first-degree and second-degree assault, as well as domestic assault.
