MnDOT holds contest to name a snowplow

Minnesotans, here is your chance to name a snowplow.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is seeking “creative, witty and fun names,” for a number of plows in its fleet.

Names can be submitted on the department’s website through Jan. 22.

Eight of the department’s snowplows, one for each MnDOT district, will receive a new name. The names will be released in February.
