All tickets must be purchased online, for a specific date and entry time and can be done up to 30 days in advance.
A spokesperson for the zoo said, once inside, visitors will have a similar experience to what they know and love.
"Some of our most visible animals will be available, the bears the sea otters, our indoor and outdoor trails are open, so really this is a great time to reconnect with the zoo and reconnect with the animals that so many people love," Zach Nugent said.
There will also be some changes to programming. Some of the larger animal shows that draw big crowds will not be taking place, zoo officials said.
