Minnesota, Wisconsin kids among finalists in US mullet championship; voting ends Friday

Voting is underway for the best business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back hair among all kids in the nation.

One Minnesotan and two Wisconsinites are up for the title of best kids’ mullet in the 2022 U.S.A. Kids Mullet Championship.

Callen Steinbrink of Austin, Minnesota has stripes shaved into the close-shaved hair on the side of his head.

Axel Wenzel of Brillion, Wisconsin has a faux hawk at the front of his hair opposite the long hair in the back.

Emmitt Bailey of Menomonie, Wisconsin has a Mohawk atop his curly blond mullet.

There are a total of 25 kids in the finalist group.

Voting runs through Friday. People can register here to get their “Mullet Champ Voter ID” to use all week. Those who already have a 2022 voter ID can cast their ballot here right away.

U.S.A. Mullet Championships says the mullet hairstyle has been around since Ancient Greece and maybe even the era of Neanderthals.
