Minnesota Twins single-game tickets go on sale March 17
The Minnesota Twins announced that single-game tickets for the upcoming season will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 17.
The organization is also waving all ticket fees for the first 48 hours.
Tickets for the entire 81-game season will be on sale. The Twins home opener is April 7 at 3:10 p.m. against the Seattle Mariners.
“We’re thrilled to finally say the words we’ve been waiting for – ‘Twins Baseball is back!’ – and with all 162 games,” said Minnesota Twins club President and CEO Dave St. Peter in a statement. “On behalf of the entire organization, we cannot wait to open the Target Field gates wide, and to welcome our fans and community, for Opening Day on April 7 and throughout a full, 81-game home schedule. Play ball!”
On Thursday, Major League Baseball and the players union came to an agreement and ended their 99-day lockout, avoiding completely canceling any regular-season games. Instead, opening day was changed to a week later, from March 31 to April 7, and the season was extended three days.
