Minnesota State Patrol reports more than 300 crashes Friday morning

More than 300 vehicle crashes were reported Friday morning by the Minnesota State Patrol.

Between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m., 349 crashes occurred statewide. Thirty-four of those crashes resulted in injury. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported.

Ninety-one vehicles also spun out on the road.

Numerous crashes were reported across the metro area during the morning commute.

Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said exhaust from vehicles froze on cold pavement, which contributed to slick spots on the road.
