Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority looking into adding new fence around US Bank Stadium

Soon, there could be a new, permanent fence around U.S. Bank Stadium.

Thursday, members of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority approved a move to start looking into building a new fence around the stadium.

“By entering into an agreement for these professional services, the MSFA intends to further explore specific concepts and estimated costs of a permanent secured perimeter,” the board said in a statement.

Some of the goals of the project will be safety, public accessibility and the inclusion of public art.
