The History Center is located on the state Capitol complex in St. Paul.

Because of planned protests over the weekend, additional law enforcement presence is expected in the area. Authorities said Minnesota Department of Natural Resources officers and National Guard soldiers will be visible and available to respond to various threats.

Anyone who does not have a planned activity or business at the state Capitol is asked to stay away from the area over the weekend, according to law enforcement.
