Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has tested positive for COVID-19, the official says.

Ellison tweeted Monday that he is fully vaccinated and feeling fine.

I tested positive for Covid this morning. I’m feeling fine and grateful to be fully vaccinated and boosted. I’ll be isolating and working from home over the holiday week and am already looking forward to next year's 4th of July events.

The World Health Organization reported last week that COVID-19 cases are rising nearly everywhere in the world.

At the state level, the Minnesota Department of Health reported last week that its daily COVID-19 updates will move to one weekly update.
