Annunciation School in Minneapolis will be closed Tuesday due to a sewer main break.

The school dismissed its students Monday morning due to the issue.

Annunciation School Principal Jennifer Cassidy told KSTP that the school's closure will allow crews to continue to clean up and have a day to assess the damage.

The lower two levels of the school were impacted due to the break. According to the principal, all those areas were under a significant amount of water and would need the floors replaced.

Cassidy also said, "We do have a lot of work ahead, but we were very grateful that it wasn’t something that was dangerous and no one was injured. And we have a great community that really rallies to help whenever needed. Staff and parents have already been asking how they can help or what they can do, so we will have a great team to deal with whatever comes our way."
