Police investigating Minneapolis bank robbery
Police say they’re investigating a bank robbery that happened early Wednesday afternoon in Minneapolis.
Officers were called to the 2800 block of Lyndale Avenue shortly before 1:30 p.m. for a report of a business being robbed.
However, by the time officers arrived, the suspect—who police identified as a male—had already left the scene. Police said the robber left the scene on foot.
According to police, the suspect presented a note, and also implied he had a weapon, although no weapon was actually seen.
Although the suspect left with money, police have not released an exact amount.
A description of the suspect was not immediately provided.
