Minneapolis Norseman Distillery makes hand sanitizer for others
Even though people can't go inside to enjoy their spirits, workers with Norseman Distillery have been hard at work making hand sanitizer.
A company representative tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS after finding a World Health Organization (WHO) approved recipe for hand sanitizer the workers got to work.
They are using some of the alcohol that doesn't make it in their product and has been able to bottle it with the supply they had on-hand.
So far, the distillery gave out more than 1,000 smaller bottles and about 40-liter bottles.
The representative said they're not doing it for profit. Instead, they're donating to first responders, health care workers, and those who are on the front line of the battle against the Coronavirus.
As word spread, so did the calls for more. The workers would like to make more, but they need more supplies; therefore, they had created a GoFundMe page.
