Minneapolis man who died days after July 13 shooting identified
A man who died several days after a shooting in Minneapolis has been identified.
According to a report from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, 33-year-old Diamond Pierre Diante Clay, of Brooklyn Park, died due to complications from a gunshot wound, and the manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
Officers found Clay when they responded to a report of a shooting July 13 on the 2500 block of Golden Valley Road.

Officers applied a tourniquet to Clay to prevent significant bleeding and he was taken by ambulance to North Memorial Medical Center, where he later died July 24.

The Minneapolis Police Department is continuing the investigation.
