Minneapolis man accused of brandishing gun at LGBTQ bar faces federal, state charges
A Minneapolis man is facing charges for allegedly pointing a gun at patrons and staff of 19 Bar on Monday.
Conell Walter Harris is charged in both Hennepin County and federal court for crimes related to the incident.
Court documents say that the 29-year-old pulled out a Glock handgun when he was asked to leave the bar.
According to charging documents, Harris used slurs and profanities while threatening a bartender.
Harris has been charged in U.S. and Minnesota courts with being a felon in possession of a firearm and faces one count of threats of violence in Hennepin County.
Harris is currently in custody and has a formal detention hearing scheduled for Monday.
