Minneapolis forgivable small business loans now available
Applications for forgivable small business loans in Minneapolis opened Friday.
Mayor Jacob Frey and city leaders announced the $5,000 and $10,000 loans last week as part of the Minneapolis Gap Funding Package for small businesses, renters and families.
Eligible businesses must be in targeted areas, the city said, and businesses must have 20 or fewer employees or less than $1 million in revenue. Applications won't be accepted beginning at noon on April 20.
