Minneapolis drivers still required to pay for parking meters, ticket enforcement reduced

The city of Minneapolis says drivers still are required to pay for metered parking they are using. 

According to a city spokesperson, due to less parking demand, the city has significantly reduced ticket enforcement efforts at meters. 

As for high demand areas, metered parking enforcement will continue as usual, but the decisions are subject to regular monitoring and re-evaluation.
