Minneapolis budget committee to review Frey’s proposal Monday

Monday, members of a Minneapolis City Council committee will get its first look at Mayor Jacob Frey’s budget proposal.
The $3.3 billion proposal goes before the budget committee Monday at 1:30 p.m.
City officials say the two-year plan focuses on the continued recovery from financial hardships related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the unrest following the murder of George Floyd.

Public hearings are scheduled to begin later this month.
