Metro Transit police investigating fatal crash involving train, bicycle
UPDATE: Metro Transit says a collision between a bicyclist and a train in St. Paul Wednesday morning has turned fatal.
According to Metro Transit, the crash happened at the Raymond Avenue Station around 10:30 a.m.
The train involved as a METRO Green Line train.
Metro Transit hasn’t released any other details about the crash as of this time, but says service has since been restored after trains were routed through the area on the other track.
The collision is being investigated by Metro Transit Police.

According to Metro Transit, a train and a bicycle collided near the Raymond Avenue Station.
As of this time, no information has been provided regarding the bicyclist’s condition, or the extent of their injuries.
Trains are still serving all stations, but riders may find significant delays, Metro Transit reported.
