Metro Transit to increase service beginning Saturday

Metro Transit announced Wednesday that an increase of service will begin on Saturday, June 27.

The increase will occur for Metro Blue and Green lines, as well as select bus routes. The Metro Blue and Green line will begin daily service at 5 a.m. through 11:30 p.m.

Fifteen-minute service also begins on Saturday.

Updated schedules for additional routes will be available online on Saturday.

Metro Transit advises that everyone wear a mask while on the trains or buses. Those who are exempt from doing so include children under the age of 2 and those who have trouble breathing or are unable to remove the face covering without assistance.
