Metro Transit: Capacity limits on buses, light rail end Friday
Metro Transit reported Monday that capacity limits on buses and light rail trains will end Friday.
Passenger capacity limits were implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The lifting of capacity limits is in connection to Gov. Tim Walz’s dialing back of COVID-19 restrictions, Metro Transit reported.
According to Metro Transit, masks will still be required while riding buses and trains, and passengers are asked to continue social distancing when possible.
Capacity limits on buses and trains end May 28. Masks are still required. Until further notice, you must wear a mask while waiting for and while riding buses and trains. Failure to do so may result in police enforcement. https://t.co/u8yCcnv0AT pic.twitter.com/K8j34s2yEd
