Starting Tuesday night, Metro Transit says buses will replace overnight airport shuttle trains for three nights to allow for scheduled tunnel maintenance.
The change will go into effect at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. At that time, buses will replace Metro Blue Line trains between airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 stations.
During the disruptions, customers can board replacement buses near each affected station. Train service between the terminals will resume at 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 21-23 each day.
Work being conducted includes the extension of the airport tunnel ventilation system and testing of the system.
