Metro Transit adjusts light rail schedules starting Saturday

This weekend, Metro Transit light rail riders will see a change.

Schedules for the Blue and Green lines are being adjusted with slightly longer wait times between each train.

Starting Saturday, trains will run every 12 minutes rather than the current 10 minutes.

The wait will be even longer in the early morning and late evening hours, with 15 to 30 minutes between routes.

Metro Transit states this change is being made in response to an ongoing shortage of operators.
