Metro area sites to be illuminated for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week
Various sites throughout the greater metro area will be illuminated this week in recognition of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.
According to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), the following sites will be illuminated blue and green:
- 35W Bridge in Minneapolis on Feb. 24,
- 100 & 111 Washington Square in Minneapolis Feb. 22-28,
- The France Avenue Lights in Edina, Feb. 22-28,
- The Sperry Tower in Eagan on Feb. 22.
NEDA states National Eating Disorders Awareness Week is an opportunity to increase education of eating disorders and their effects, spread messages of hope and provide resources to those who need them.
