Metallica announces world tour, to perform twice at US Bank Stadium

Rock music lovers will have two opportunities to see Metallica at U.S. Bank Stadium in 2024.
According to stadium officials, the concerts will be held on Friday, Aug. 16 and Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024.
The two stops are part of the band’s M72 world tour.
Organizers say the band will perform two nights in every city it visits and will feature two completely different setlists and support lineups.
Two-day ticket pre-sales begin this Friday, Dec. 2. Single-day tickets will be available starting Jan. 20, 2023. Meanwhile, pre-sale tickets begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022. There will also be discounted tickets for fans under 16 years of age.
Concert organizers add a portion of each ticket sale will go to the band’s foundation, All Within My Hands.
The tour will begin in April of 2023 in Amsterdam, and the U.S. leg of the tour begins on Aug. 4, 2023. The last U.S. Performance for 2023 will be held in Detroit on Nov. 12.
After that, the tour again goes international, starting in Munich in May of 2024. The second U.S. leg will start in Foxborough and ends in Seattle on Sept. 1, 2024. The group will end the tour in Mexico City on Sept. 29, 2024.
