MDH: Scheduling for some COVID-19 vaccination sites available through Vaccine Connector

Coronavirus vaccination appointments at sites run through the state’s COVID-19 Community Vaccination Program locations can be scheduled through Minnesota’s Vaccine Connector, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

The sites operated by the state are located in St. Paul, Bloomington, Oakdale, Mankato, Duluth, Rochester, Lino Lakes and St. Cloud. A location has also been set up at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Those using the connector can also be signed up to receive information about when they are able to book an appointment if appointments are full. The vaccine connector will also notify Minnesotans about other opportunities to be vaccinated near them.

Tuesday, Gov. Tim Walz told reporters he expects 70% of Minnesota will be vaccinated within weeks.

As of Wednesday, there have been a total of 4.13 million COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Minnesota. So far, 1.83 million people have completed the vaccine series, according to MDH data.
