Mason Jar Kitchen in Eagan offering free entree to military members on Veterans Day

Wednesday is Veterans Day.

One Eagan restaurant is giving back to those who served our nation.

Mason Jar Kitchen will offer a free entree to any active or retired military member.

Even though these are tough times in the restaurant business, General Manager Mike LaGuire says it’s important to serve those who put their life on the line for the country.

Veterans Day events and discounts around Minnesota

"It’s such a small gesture on our part but we’re hoping that we can brighten people’s day and we can put a smile on their face," LaGuire said.

Last year when they held this event, more than 100 veterans showed up. This year because of the pandemic, vets will have to make a reservation.
