The news that the Great Minnesota Get-Together has been canceled has left many people shocked and saddened. That includes the namesake and proprietor of one of the fair's most popular stands.
Martha Rossini Olson, better known as Sweet Martha, said, "We'll miss you terribly and can't wait for 2021. That's going to be the best dang fair we've ever had cause, you know, absence makes the heart grow fonder."

Martha's booths at the fair employ about 850 people each year who bake up to 3 million cookies.
For all the cookie fans out there don't worry, Sweet Martha sells frozen cookie dough that you can bake at home.
However, Sweet Martha herself says there's something special about the fair that just makes them taste a bit better.
