Man who died following shooting in St. Paul’s east side identified

The man who died after a shooting in St. Paul’s east side Monday has been identified.
Tuesday, St. Paul police reported the medical examiner identified the man as being 21-year-old Michael Dashawn Redding, of South St. Paul.
According to St. Paul police, officers were called to the area of North Hazel Street and East Seventh Street at about 5:30 p.m. Monday on multiple reports of gunshots fired.
There, officers found Redding suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the parking lot of Pine Tree Park apartment complex.
Redding was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have yet been made in connection with this incident.
