Man stabbed aboard Metro Transit bus in Minneapolis

Officials say a man is expected to recover after he was stabbed Tuesday afternoon on a Metro Transit bus.
According to Metro Transit spokesman Drew Kerr, the victim was stabbed around 1:30 p.m. on a southbound Route 5 bus near Chicago and Franklin avenues.
The bus operator drove the victim a short distance to Children’s Minnesota Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Kerr said.
Police say a suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
