Man shot while working at St. Paul gas station
St. Paul police say a man is recovering after being shot while working at a gas station in St. Paul’s Summit Hill neighborhood Thursday evening.
According to police, officers were called to the Speedway gas station on the 900 block of Grand Avenue at 6:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in his left shoulder, according to an incident report. His injury was considered to be non-life-threatening.
The man is in stable condition at Regions Hospital, according to police, who add that he is expected to survive.
Police believe the incident was due to a confrontation that isn’t related to business at Speedway.
No one is currently in custody for the shooting. Information about any potential suspects wasn’t immediately provided.
Police add the incident isn’t random and they are continuing to investigate the incident.
