Man severely injured in Hubbard County dirt bike crash

Authorities say a man is recovering from severe head injuries after crashing his dirt bike earlier this week.

According to the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home in Arago Township on May 23.

The 22-year-old man hit a tree while driving a mini-bike in his yard, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids before being flown to a Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

Authorities add he wasn’t wearing a helmet.
