Man seriously injured in south Minneapolis shooting

A man was seriously injured early Wednesday morning after a shooting in south Minneapolis.

Minneapolis Police said officers were called to the 4100 block of Chicago Avenue South at 1:12 a.m. on a report of a shooting. There, officers found a man in his 30s suffering from a life-threatening wound.

The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

An investigation is ongoing.

Police hadn’t made any arrests in the case as of Wednesday morning.
