Man pleads guilty to drug trafficking, illegal gun possession

A Minneapolis man has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and unlawful gun possession.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 26-year-old Albert Walter Bratton entered his guilty pleas on Monday.

Prosecutors say Minneapolis police officers witnessed apparent hand-to-hand drug deals on June 10, 2021, then arrested Bratton when the group scattered.

Police found a Glock and two baggies containing around 10 grams of crack cocaine, authorities say.

His sentencing date hasn’t yet been scheduled.
