Man pleads guilty to Bloomington armed robbery, shooting restaurant owner in 2020
Two men pleaded guilty to charges connected to an armed robbery where a victim was shot in the summer of 2020, according to a news release from the Department of Justice. One of the men also pleaded guilty to robbing a liquor store at gunpoint days later.
Bloomington police responded to reports of a man collapsed on the sidewalk in front of a store just after 7:15 p.m. on June 16. Officers then learned the man was shot at the Penn Lake Roast Beef Shop, which was robbed by two suspects. Court documents name the two suspects as 22-year-old Devon Dwayne Reginald Glover, and 21-year-old Marshawn Michael Davison. Glover reportedly shot the man, who owned the restaurant, with a pistol during the robbery. Both men reportedly took cash from the register.

The news release states that Glover committed another armed robbery on June 23 at a liquor store in St. Paul. He reportedly pointed a gun at an employee and stole cash from the register.
Glover pleaded guilty to one count of discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and one count of brandishing a firearm in relation to a crime of violence on Wednesday. He is expected to be sentenced on Sept. 22, 2022.
Davison pleaded guilty to one count of Hobbs Act Robbery, which is defined as unlawfully taking property by means of actual or threatened force. He was sentenced to 72 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release on Tuesday.
