Minneapolis police said officers responded to the area just before noon after hearing reports of a man with a gun. While en route, officers were told a shot was reportedly fired and later learned that a victim — Light — had been taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Officers saw two suspects go inside a home near the shooting, and negotiators were then called to get the suspects to surrender. A man and woman surrendered and were arrested at around 2:30 p.m., according to police.

However, formal charges haven’t yet been announced.
