Man hospitalized after shooting in north Minneapolis

A man was taken to a hospital Saturday night after a report of multiple gunshots in north Minneapolis.
Minneapolis police say officers were called to the area near 38th and Penn avenues north shortly after 7:30 p.m.
There, officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that police said weren’t considered life-threatening.
A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew at the scene also saw the victim’s vehicle towed from the scene.
Police are still investigating the shooting, and no arrests had been made as of Saturday night.
