Man found dead in south Minneapolis identified

The man found dead in south Minneapolis on Aug. 18 has been identified as 23-year-old Shane Terran Boswell on Sunday.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Boswell died from a gunshot wound to the chest. The manner of death is a homicide.
According to Minneapolis Police, people near the 100 block of 59th Street East called 911 at 6:22 a.m. to report a man on the ground not moving.

Officers arrived and found Boswell already dead on the ground.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday morning. The incident remains under investigation.
