Man found dead in Minneapolis parking ramp, police investigating

Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a Minneapolis parking ramp Friday night.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to a report of an unconscious man in a parking ramp near South Seventh Street and Fifth Avenue South at about 6:05 p.m. When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crime lab and homicide unit personnel responded and are investigating.

Nobody was in custody as of Friday night.

The victim’s identity is expected to be released at a later time.
