Man dies of apparent drowning in Le Sueur County
The body of a man who died in an apparent drowning was recovered Friday morning.
The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home on the southwest shore of Lake Washington at around 6:40 a.m. Friday regarding a missing person.
Family members said 45-year-old Alan Jonathan Noy had left on a pontoon at around 6 p.m. the previous night and never returned. Family members looked for him and found the pontoon floating in the weeds along the shoreline.
Eventually, deputies found Noy’s body around 30 feet from shore in just over two feet of water.
An autopsy has been scheduled, but the sheriff’s office says it appears Noy drowned.
His death remains under investigation.
