Man dies in hospital after crashing into semi
A man is dead after police say he swerved in front of a semi-tractor-trailer and crashed into the trailer wheels around 10 p.m. Thursday in the Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis.
According to police, the crash happened at the intersection of Lyndale and 39th Avenues North.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, identified as a 59-year-old man, was taken to a hospital, where he then died.
The semi-driver, who was uninjured, is cooperating with the Minneapolis police investigation.
The man’s name, as well as the cause and nature of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office at a later date.
