Man dies in farm incident in western Wisconsin
A 73-year-old man has died from a farming incident that happened in Dunn County Monday night.
According to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, at about 6:02 p.m. the Dunn County 911 Center received a report of a male pinned under a tractor on CTH A in the Town of Colfax.
Responders found the man pinned under the tire of a small, older tractor. He had been using the tractor and a rotary mower on his property. The man was extricated from under the tractor and was transported by helicopter to Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The sheriff’s office identified him as James Kiesow, of rural Colfax.
The incident remains under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office.
