Man arrested after fleeing multiple arrest attempts in Carver County

A man was arrested in Carver County after he had previously fled from an attempted arrest for separate calls.

According to the Carver County Sheriff, the dpeuties were called on Sept. 5 regarding a threats complaint on the 10500 block of County Road 36 in Cologne. The suspect fled on a motorcycle before deputies arrived.

Deputies then received a call from the same residence on Sept. 6 for a report of a fugitive hiding at the residence. Deputies were also informed that the suspect was in possession of a stolen motorcycle and a handgun. The suspect again fled, this time on foot, and was not located at that time.

On Thursday morning, Deputies responded to the same residence to serve the arrest warrants. A search of the residence and numerous outbuildings was conducted and the suspect was found hiding in a wooded area. The suspect was in possession of a loaded firearm and was arrested for warrants.

The suspect was identified as 32-year-old Taylor Patrick Sells of Bemidji.

Kyra Elizabeth Storberg, 30, was also arrested and charged with obstruction of the legal process and aiding an offender.
