Man airlifted, hospitalized after bite from dog

A man was airlifted from Sherburne County to a hospital on Tuesday afternoon after suffering a dog bite.

Officials from the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement was called to the 29000 block of 144th Street Northwest for a report of a person who had been bitten by their dog.

The man was brought to the hospital in an air ambulance, officials say.

Authorities say he is expected to survive.
