Male victim dies at hospital after north Minneapolis shooting

An adult male was killed Sunday night in north Minneapolis.

The shooting occurred at 7:52 p.m. near Glenwood and Morgan Avenues North, Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder said.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was transported to North Memorial Medical Center where he later died, according to police.

The suspect fled before police arrived on the scene, according to Minneapolis Police. No one is in custody.

According to police, shots were fired striking the victim who tried to get away but the suspect followed and kept shooting.
