Mac’s Industrial Sports Bar temporarily closes after employee tests positive for COVID-19
A Minneapolis sports bar has temporarily closed after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 and another symptomatic employee is waiting on results.
Mac’s Industrial Sports Bar first announced on Sunday it would close for the day after one of its employees tested positive. The bar later announced it would remain closed through June 11.

In a post to its Facebook page, bar management first encouraged customers who visited the bar after June 20 quarantine and get tested.
The bar later said officials with the Minneapolis Health Department said it is not recommended that customers need to quarantine or get tested unless they were in close contact with others, which constitutes as being within six of a person for more than 15 consecutive minutes.

"Since we are unable to identify the employees in any way we are recommending that you consider any employee of Mac’s Industrial to be the infected employee and quarantine if you had close contact," bar management said in a Facebook post.
