Lynx: Bally Sports North to broadcast all non-nationally produced games for upcoming season
WNBA fans will soon be able to see the Minnesota Lynx play on Bally Sports North (BSN) more frequently.
Friday, the team announced the network will carry all of the 2022 season games which aren’t produced on a national level, giving BSN 32 fully-produced games that will be aired on BSN or BSN Extra.
The upcoming season will have 36 regular-season games from May 6-Aug. 14, with four nationally televised Lynx games airing on ESPN2 and ABC.
The games will be announced by Marney Gellner, who will be joined by color analyst Lea Olsen. In addition, former Big Ten Network broadcaster Sloane Martin will be the sideline reporter, and will also handle play-by-play for some games.
In addition to airing on BSN, the games will also be shown on the Bally Sports North app, as well as online when a consumer authenticates a pay-TV service.
The Lynx open their season on the road at Seattle on May 6. Their home opener is two days later against Washington and will be televised on ESPN2.
