Little Falls woman critically injured after 3-vehicle crash in Benton County
A Little Falls woman is in the hospital following a three-vehicle crash just before 5:15 p.m. Thursday in Benton County, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.
The report says a car was turning left onto 55th Avenue from Highway 10 in Langola Township when it collided with an SUV traveling west in the left lane of the highway.
The vehicles’ momentum made them spin and strike a second SUV that was parked at a stop sign on 55th Avenue.
The only person hurt was a woman in the passenger seat of the car. She has been identified as 47-year-old Melissa Kurr of Little Falls.
First responders took Kurr to North Memorial Hospital for unspecified life-threatening injuries.
Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. It is unknown whether the passenger airbag of the car went off.
The Minnesota State Patrol did not say who was at fault in the crash.
